"My IT Notes" Book Series Launched

A Primary School Information Technology (IT) book series that fosters a complete and active understanding of computer use through the teaching of everyday aspects of the computer was launched on Wednesday January 25th.

The “My IT Notes” Book Series, was penned by Information Technology (IT) Educator at the Sunnyside Tutorial, Michele Williams-Angmor.

The seven-book series features a step-by-step approach to equipping readers with tools to increase productivity, search the Web, send email and obtain overall knowledge about the computer.

“If we start integrating this technical education at an early age, we will develop more advance results,” Mrs.Williams-Angmor said.

During the Launch Mrs. Williams-Angmor presented a complete set of the ‘My IT Notes’ book series to Dr Hon. Jacqui Quinn-Leandro; Minister of Education,  Dr. Hon. Edmond Mansoor; Minister of Information, Broadcasting, Telecommunications, Science and Technology, and Ms. Jacintha Pringle; Director of Education.

The series was developed using guidelines from the International Society for Technology in Education. (ISTE).
