During which security guards stood by and do nothing. According to article the security guards said they were doing what they were told to do.. Do you think they should have stopped this crime? As a civilian what would you have done?

http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/questions-raised-seattle-teen-beating-caught-tape/story?id=9816458

Abused Men

I have read three articles in the last month about men being abused and more recently shelters that are provided for them. This process is very slow because men are very much ashamed to open up about a woman abusing them; whether it’s physical or emotional. My question or query is; does anyone know any man that is being abused? Or does anyone know of shelters, hotlines, or private facilities where they can get help?

This revelation is mind blowing, and as a society we have to be mindful of our men and the effects that this is having on our families. The urgency should be treated the same as it is with women; we have so many help centers that are primarily dedicated to women, and think it is only fair we have some for our men.

Tell me your thoughts!

I am confused

- Over the years I have heard that if a criminal enters your house e.g. say with a knife and you kill him with a gun, then you can be charged, cause you attacked him with weapon that is "greater" his. You are supposed to attack him with the same type of weapon. So what do you do? Do you tell the burgular to "hold on let me get a knife......?" Am I just a stupid thinker or this actually exists?

- When a man is sentenced to 150 years in jail, Uhhmm I, I, I just cant get this.....Cant they just say Life Imprisonment?

- Why does the Human Rights group try to defend a Criminal who has purpously destroyed an innocent life...by raping and killing a kid or old lady? Shouldnt he be given the worst form of punishment there is....torture, then ultimately death?

These things do vex me, greatly

Shaniya Davis's Murder

I can't get over the death of 5 year old Shaniya Davis. Maybe because from the time I first heard she was missing, I hoped she was okay. Her "mother" was charged with child trafficking and prostitution and a man was charged with kidnapping. Still no Shaniya so there was hope that even though she may have already been sexually abused, she was alive. They found her body this afternoon. What kind of woman would do this to her child? I can't say Mother because she was no mother to that little girl. This world is just filled with too many sick, disgusting, evil people. I no longer have sympathy for any of these people, especially not when innocent children are being abused and murdered. It is just too much.
