What can we do as individuals to protect out planet from further degradation?

Today, the eyes across the globe focus on EarthDay and we are reminded of our individual responsibilitiy in protecting the planet on which we live. In conversation with a child this morning, she said the most profound thing. "every day should be earth day". She has already grasped the importance of environmental protection and preservation as a daily and individual act. Climate change, rising sea levels, melting glaciers, the ultra pollution of our planet among others are issues that affect all of us. What about you, shouldn't everyday be earthday? What can you do to prevent further environmental degradation?

Caribbean Recycling

Are there any recycling programs in the Caribbean? And if so, how do they work?

Water

A recent water forum in Turkey seems to suggest to the world that there is an international crisis for fresh water across the globe.
