Do you think the Clerk did all that he could?
Do you agree with the judge in this case?
Has anyone ever suffered from the ruins of the subway, maybe a flasher, touching, robbed etc?

Things is, this is an everyday occurrence. The pervasive sexual attacks that women and young girls are expose to on the trains in NYC is sickening. On a daily basis there are reports of fondling, men exposing themselves, and just plain sexual harassment. Crowded trains are just as bad. Men use the opportunity to rub their erection on women- I even had a friend who was devastated because a man ejaculated on her pants leg in a crowded train.
Now this speak to a whole other issue of social responsibility- why has social responsibility eroded? Are we now to scared to be our brothers keepers? Or is it that we just don't care? What is about men that let them think that they can and need to do this?

| I have been a victim of "crowded train" harrassment. Where a man who wore a long coat stood infront of me and took out his erected penis infront of me, then just got off the train. No one saw except me, but the violation that plagues you is beyond words. I think they do this because there is no "getting caught" we as women are not protected and they know this. But like you say what makes them think this is ok? Its a question I am not sure we can disect and pinpoint the real root cause. I never talk about this incident because it simply tears me to pieces, but do you think if more women speak out, then maybe more serious actions can be taken? I never understood why men rape, why fight to get sexual pleasure when there are so many women out there who maybe willing to give it up without a fight?
