| It has been known over the years that teens run away from home for days, even weeks and have the world searching for them.. Friend, Relatives, other people worry for fear that these children are dead......Sometimes their fears are materialised, other times they are not. In many cases these young adults show up later on, no signs of any kidnapping, abuse etc.......The reason.....They just ran away from home.....WHY?

| Missy, the issue of teens running away is a serious one. If we were to examine the cases we would find numerous reasons. Parental abuse, including physical, verbal and sexual abuse is evident in some cases but of course these tendencies are generally swept under the carpet to protect the family's image. Financial inducements offered by preying males and would be child molesters lure teens away with the promise of the brand names and other materials. Sex and the need to explore that sexuality is another cause since many teens find that imposed restrictions limit contact with the opposite sex. Of course, there is always the issue of parental neglect and the overburdening of roles which many teens are forced to perform . Fundamental to this as well is simply the lack of love and nurturing in some families...Sad to say but some teens are just down right rebellious and...
